I love a good grenadine cocktail and I count this one among them. In the book the description calls for the “whiskey has finally settled deep into the embrace of the pomegranate” and I can’t think of a better description of this cocktail. I might fiddle with the lemon juice to grenadine ration, I think I want even more of that pomegranate tartness.

  • 2 oz Rye
  • 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Grenadine
  • 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
  • 3 Dash of Bitters
